Carl joined the Goethe University Frankfurt in 2019 as a Ph.D. student at the GSEFM. He began his academic career in 2005 as a student at Western Washington University, USA, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2010. He subsequently completed his master’s degree in Economics at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in 2019. He joined the Chair of Applied Statistics and Econometrics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) as a research and teaching assistant in 2020. In April 2026, he will start working for Capgemini in Frankfurt. We wish him all the best for the future.
