From April 23rd to April24th, we hosted an international workshop on “Natural Disasters and Labor Market Resilience”. The two keynotes were given by Tatyana Deryugina (University of Illinois) and by Eric Strobl (University of Bern). Alexander Moog from our chair presented first results of a joint project with Thorsten Schank and Mario Bossler on the effects of the Arthal 2021 flash flooding on population and employment in the region.
